Cute Little "Dude" :)

Cute little dude....see his hat, get it ;) I love that little hat. This little guy wasn't too sure about having his picture taken. Which I don't blame him, he was asleep all snug...warm in his clothes. Then this crazy lady with a camera take off his clothes and makes him pose for pictures :)

I had a great time with this new little family of 3, super nice people. I love meeting new clients. And a big thanks to Madalyn for sending this awesome little family my way :)

I had a great time spending my afternoon with you guys. I love what we

got, I love the "real life" feel of these pictures which is what I was

hoping for. This time is so fleeting and they grow so fast. I hope you look back

at these in the years to come and they bring you back to this special sweet stage.

Happy First Birthday Miss "M"!!!

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this little beauty grow and change over her first year. As I have said many many times, first year clients are so very special to me....but that last shoot, it is very bitter sweet. I am lucky enough to be able to follow her through her momma on Facebook (what would we do with out good ole' Facebook). And hopefully I will get to see her again soon.

Enjoy this darling first year shoot, lots of creative goodness that her momma put together for our shoot....with help from Grandma :) I LOVED the cake pictures, she was cracking us up. I think she was really wanting to grab that cake and take off. You know sometimes I girl just likes to eat in peace :)

Cousin Fun!

This fun session was for my friend Leslie's kiddos and her nephews. I always love sessions when I know the kids....I can act sillier than I normally do :) I feel so old, I have known these guys since they were itty bitty...and they are all grown up and gorgeous!

We had a great time, I think the kids even enjoyed themselves a little bit :)

A Birthday Cake Smashing Good Time!

Love this family!!! Love these parents who are always so enjoyable to spend time with...who are very "real" and  again, the type of people I could totally  hang out with. These kids...oh how I adore these two. So cute, so happy....so loving.

Ok, so I have to tell you my favorite quote of the day. There was going to be a "cake smash" in honor of "B" man turning ONE. His big sister was just so excited about this cake, as we were walking to our destination for all of this cake smashing fun she says "Ok, who is ready to get a messy face with me?!?" It cracked me up, every time I see her she says something else that has me grinning all day. Seriously Jody, you have to write this stuff down.

Anyway, here is one of my very favorite families in all their adorable goodness.....Enjoy!!

Lots of Cuteness Comin' Your Way!

Ahhhh, this family....love love love them! I have been photographing them since they were pregnant with the cute little princess below. Mom is awesome, one of those people you meet and feel like you have known forever. They remind me of the type of family that my husband and I would be friends with and hang out with (if only they lived closer...we might stalk them. ha!). 

So let me tell you about this session...crazy, rain was coming in on us fast. We really didn't want to reschedule because people are busy and this family has lots going on. So we went for it and I tell ya, I think I broke some records for the fastest shooting I have ever done. But it wouldn't of been possible if these kids weren't sooooo darn good! I mean, crazy good for the ages they are at. Heck, they were better than some teenagers I have worked with ;)

I loved every second of it...like I always do. I can't get over how big and gorgeous these two are. Whoa, time flies!

I have to tell you that I always get nervous blogging their pictures. Mom is a professional

writer and a darn good one at that. She has helped me with my blog and newsletters in the past.

I am always double checking my grammar, but I think I am a hopeless cause....I type like I talk.
