Can I get a WOOT WOOT!!!

I am soooo thrilled to finally have my website launched. This blog has been so wonderful for starting out my business, but I finally got to the point that if I want to keep growing this business I need a website.
So check it out www.lisakellyphoto.com
It was a LOT of sleepless nights...many gray hairs and in the end I didn't think it would ever get "launched". But it did, and I am very proud of my labor of love. I hope you like it too.

Because I can't have a post with out a picture...here is a little sign of Spring...one of my favorite times for portraits...so give me a call.

My Girls and Ice Cream...two of my favorite things!

Saturday I took my girlies and my niece Kearsten out for some formal photos..it had been a year since I had taken any planned photographs of them. After the day I had...I know why I waited a year. I LOVE taking pictures of other peoples kiddos...but my own...yea, not so much. My niece Kearsten was wonderful...so she is excluded in that statement. My girls are extremely close to their cousin Kearsten...so she is always included in all the family pictures, because she is like an extra sister.

So I got a lot of this....
A lot of attitude...like this........

But after a lot of pleading, bribing and begging...I was able to get some good ones.
I knew from the get go I had to take my Abby to this spot...her turquoise eyes matched the backdrop to a tee.

My four favorite girls in the whole world....even if they make me work extremely hard for a good photo....

Another of my Abby girl....when she wants to...she can really work a camera.

From my oldest to my youngest...here is my baby girl Riley...she makes my heart skip a beat.....

More of Miss Abby...this was probably my favorite of the whole session. And the pose was 100% her idea.

My adorable niece Kearsten...who didn't make her Aunt work hard for it.....

And Miss Em...with her fancy new hair cut....so darling.

After we left New Town we headed down to Old Town St. Charles....I love this one too...the American Flag in the back drop is too cool.

Miss Em was putting on some moves at the end....guess she just had to warm up to it. :)

So after I said "Just one more"....500 times...we finally gave them their reward. ICE CREAM!!!

What a great way to end the day...but I decided I need something a little stronger than ice cream. Until next year......
