Baby Love...

I gotta start by saying, I am so incredibly in love with these pics. Like if I was a kid and had show and tell...I would be taking these to school to show all the popular kids. :)
Meet Andrea and Eric...and their sweet baby boy who is growing bigger by the day in Andrea's belly. I was super excited to meet them a few Thursday's ago for a maternity shoot. I am growing very fond of maternity shoots..they are starting to become my new fav's.
I have blogged a ton of pictures...and this was after painfully removing about 10 from my list. So I will keep this short and sweet. Couple bullet points.
#1-You all know how I LOVE eyes...they are the window to the soul..yadda yadda yadda. Well Andrea's green eyes are some of the most beautiful I have ever photographed..hands down. And I have photographed some people with some really amazing eyes!
#2-They LOVE football...Eric is a Mizzou alumni and I love that they brought a football and some Mizzou gear as props.
#3-The last series of them "snuggling" are my favorite pics EVER...the light, the love..I mean seriously...I feel like I was a fly on the wall capturing an intimate glimpse into this very special time of their life.
Thank you so much Andrea and Eric for asking me to be a part of this special time. Good luck in the next few months. I can't wait to meet baby Cooper :)

Wooten Family Fun

The Wooten's are so much fun! I am glad we snuck this quick little family session in while we were taking Nick's Senior pics. My only regret is that we didn't have a ton of time. They are such a fun loving family.
I love the silly face picture of Nick and Abby....and the shot of just Abby...WOW what a beauty!

I had so much fun guys! We will have to do it again when we can just focus on the 4 of you.

More Senior Fun!

Nick is a Senior at St. Charles High School, he is also the nephew of my sister in law Jess. I adore his family (Jess has great family!) so I knew our session would be fun. We went exploring St. Charles...along with a million teens out for Prom :) We started out at St.Charles High and wow what an awesome campus. I loved the urban feel it gave. Then we headed down to Main Street for some more. Nick was very patient with me dragging him all over the place, I know he isn't a fan of pictures...but he did so great. I think he looks quite handsome in these :)
Nick thanks for putting up with me....enjoy college!!

Stay tuned for more of Nick...I snapped some family pics too of Nick and his family. They are too cute...just wait till you see :)

MOM = WOW

Life is fleeting, years rush past...
and little girls grow up so fast!
Let me take time out to be
glad that mine's still here with me.
And though I'm busy through the day,
let me take time out to play...
Let me take time out to smile,
to linger with her for a while...
To invite her under the table for tea
and dress up silly as can be.
Let me take time out to sing
and dance and skip
and twirl and swing...
To splash in puddles when it rains
and make her fancy daisy chains.
Let me take time out to hear
about the things that she holds dear.
Let me tuck her in at night,
hear her prayers, turn off the light.
And for one more moment let me pray
and thank God that we shared this day!

I loved that poem, being a mom to these 3 precious little girls is the greatest gift I have ever been given. I LOVE being a mom.
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there!

My Goddaughter....

This gorgeous young lady is my Goddaughter Brittany. She is a Junior at Fort Zumwalt West and she recently had her prom. When I think of Brittany...I think of this sweet dimpled cheek girl who loved horses and her mommy. She is all grown up, I need to get used to these kiddos I love growing up on me so fast...because it is happening all around me.

Brittany you looked so beautiful. Glad I could be there to snap off a couple of pics for you.

Growing Family....

I LOVE getting to capture all the special moments in my clients lives. I especially love watching families grow. I adore this family...so I was over the moon when they called me to come out and capture some beautiful images of their new sweet baby girl Leah. She just is so precious!!

I just had to share a little before and after...Family of Three...Family of Four. Makes me smile just typing that. I had to show off some pics of her adorable big brother Caleb too, he has the BEST expressions ever!

I really loved these images, but while I was editing it was the pictures of Leah with mommy and daddy that made me tear up. The love for their new baby girl was just jumping off the screen at me...so beautiful to witness. Gosh, I LOVE what I do!!

Your family has just grown more adorable! Thank you for asking me to come out and spend some time with you guys capturing these fleeting moments for you. Enjoy your sweet baby girl!
