Sweet Newborn Goodness!

Oh how I love newborn shoots, it gives me the chance to get my baby fix. There is nothing better than a sweet squishy newborn :)

This little beauty was just 4 days old for her modeling debut :) She was so awake and alert, usually the 4 and 5 day olds are out like a light. She was so smiley too, such an added bonus.

Twins Celebrate with Cake!

I was so excited to meet these 3 adorable kids! They belong to one of our very favorite Teachers! She is now a super busy stay at home mom, but 2 of the 3 of my girls were very lucky to have her as their Teacher and I know she impacted them in a very positive way. 

Here babies...Oh My!! Three of the cutest little ones ever, and I just loved their grey, red and blue outfits. We got some pictures with big sis before we focused on the main event, the twins 1st birthday!

Here they are...cute as can be!

How darling are the jumbo cupcakes and hats, both made by Grandma. And we were so lucky to have their other Grandma there to help during the shoot and to bring the balloons. Grandma's are the best!

It was so much fun! And it was so great to see all of you. Amanda, I 

knew your babies would be beautiful and I am so happy I got the

chance to photograph! Have fun at that 1st Birthday Party!

3 Months of Total Tiger Cuteness!!

The changes that happen from a newborn to a 3 month old are truly amazing! This little guy has filled out to the perfectly perfect size, is so smiley and happy! I always love watching my "one year" babies grow and change over that first year. But it is even more special when it is your friends baby. I already know I am going to get extra attached to this little pumpkin ;)

Ok, how cute is this Mizzou Tigers outfit!! I posted this on Facebook and it go more likes than probably any photo I have ever posted :) But he is so darn cute in anything he wears...take a look....

He is soooo adored and loved by his parents. Look at those eyes, so precious!

He was cracking me up with that tongue! So much personality!

Oh, I can't wait until our next shoot! Six months is such a fun

age and I know you are going to be so much fun!!

First Family of 2013

As much as I am loving this quiet time of the year, I have been itching to get some adorable families in front of my camera. My wish was answered with this awesome family!! They are a new family and I certainly hope I see them again because they were perfect! You will see what I mean when you take a look at their pictures. So darn cute!!

The main reason we got together was to document their little dolls 1st birthday. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and is so photogenic :)

Looking Back on 2012

Oh my....what a year!! As I enjoy the quiet month of January....enjoying my husband and girls, friends, watching t.v., reading, exercising....SLEEPING (oh the little things in life). One of my favorite things to do is to go back through all my sessions for the year and work on my "Yearly Review". It really is my "ah-ha" moment, I sit here in awe at what I have accomplished in my 5th year of business. I am so very thankful to do something that I love, I meet the MOST amazing people through this business. I watch couples become united as husband and wife, I watch families snuggle their newborn babies, I spend time with High School Seniors before they venture off as adults and college life. But one of my favorite things is seeing repeat clients year after year and become a little small part of their family "Miss Lisa, the silly Photographer" who dances crazy and sings songs and does whatever it take to capture a beautiful moment for the families she photographs. It makes my heart happy :)

I hope you enjoy my year end review as much as I loved putting it together. Even with shooting half the weddings this year as compared to 2011....this is still my biggest year. I had 132 families, couples, babies, Seniors in front of my camera this year...and I am VERY proud and in awe of that.

I am excited for some changes in 2013, a re-branding is in the works. I am

setting some boundaries to when I shoot so that I have more time for my

own precious family. But most of all I am so excited to see all the new and

returning clients of 2013....I can't wait!! It is going to be a great year!!
