Green Eyed Mommy with Her Blue Eyed Boys...

This is the 2nd time I have been lucky enough to have this gorgeous family in front of my camera. They are always so much fun and up for anything...we walked all over downtown St. Charles...the boys were so cute! Tanner was working the camera..and Reid was checking out all the motorcycles....especially the green ones :)

Here they are...cute as can be!

The boys LOVE their daddies...but I have to tell you...Suzanne totally rocks the whole "trendy adorable mommy to 2 boys" thing really well.

Told ya..he was working the camera. Those eyes...holy smokes. The whole family has the most amazing eyes.

I think he spotted a motorcycle or two.

These photos were front lit instead of what I usually go for which is back lit. But I think I like them...kind of cool, artsy and dramatic. :)

LOVE this!

Seriously Suzanne...you are one gorgeous momma!

Had to end with one of my favorites...they were such good sports walking down train tracks and racing each other. I got so many cute candids during this time.

It was so awesome to see you guys again...can't get over how much the boys grew in a years time.
Have a fun Halloween!
Thanks a bunch!

Carl & Colleen

Colleen and Carl were married at this beautiful park. I love their love story...City Clerk marries the Chief of Police :) And within moments of arriving it was obvious that their community, friends and family think the world of these two. Colleen's smile lit up the whole day and Carl has such a gentle kindness about him.
It was an honor to be there to capture these moments for them...

They arrived together in a horse drawn carriage surrounded by their grandchildren.

I love that they walked in together surrounded by all of their grandchildren. When I asked Colleen during the planning stages if their grandchildren were walking in with them...she said "With them, around them, in their arms"...it made me smile, what amazing grandparents they must be!
Beautiful and heart felt ceremony.

Look at Colleen's sister and Maid of Honor...I love that I caught that moment :)

This was Colleen...all day long. Happy and smiling...you could not be near her and not smile.

And Colleen's beautiful momma.

The whole big beautiful happy family...two families that are now one :)

I love how Colleen is looking at Carl in this one.

Stunning!

The cutest cakes ever! He loves Twinkies...she loves hostess cupcakes. So a cake for each :)

This is the reaction that you get when a day in the City you live and work has been named after you and your new hubby.

That is right...September 26th is officially their day in the City of Hazelwood. Pretty cool, huh!

Carl & Colleen....I wish you many many happy years. Keep smiling and loving each other :)
Hugs!

The Britt Boys

I was so excited to get to see the Britt boys again. The last time I saw them little Kaamil was just a few months old. Now he is a bright eyed adorable toddler.
TJ has grown too...but is still the amazing young man he was the last time I saw him.
I love getting a chance to meet up with my clients for repeat sessions, to catch up with parents and see how much the kids have grown.
We had a beautiful night at The City Gardens...and I think the boys quite enjoyed themselves too :)
Here is TJ...LOVE that hat!

A Kaamil is so stinkin' cute...the last time I saw him he could fit in my basket that I brought as a prop :)

Gotta love brothers.

Kaamil is such a curious little guy....and TJ is such an awesome big brother. So kind and patient.

I LOVE this of Kaamil....makes me smile to see his big toothy grin.

And as handsome as always.

It was so great to see you guys....always such a pleasure.
Have a great Fall!

Jordan - Class of 2011

Jordan is one of my FABULOUS 2011 Seniors. I am CRAZY about this session with Jordan, I wanted to blog every single image...because I am so incredibly proud of them. But I had to narrow it down to 17...that was a killer :)

Jordan is an amazing young lady. She is beautiful, mature beyond her years...knows who she is and has rockin' fashion sense. Jordan is a rider...as in she rides horses and competes. So Jordan and her equally amazing mom Julene thought a great spot for her Senior pictures would be at the barn where she rides...and I couldn't agree more :)

We started off hanging out with Jordan's favorite 4 legged friend :)

She is so extremely comfortable around horses....and to watch her with her horse was so amazing. My oldest daughter Abby, who also rides..sat over my shoulder the whole time I was editing these images. She was a bit mad I didn't bring her along. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

Jordan..your gorgeous!

Jordan knew what she wanted and what she liked..but yet, gave me free creative control. I LOVE working with Seniors like Jordan...I am able to do so much more than take a photo...I can create art. And it was Jordan's willingness to stand in weeds...play on train tracks...all kinds of crazy stuff, that made this my favorite Senior session yet.

Jordan you were awesome!! I had such a blast with you (and Abby). Your future is bright and I know your going to do so many amazing things.
Enjoy your last year of High School!
