Sun Glorious Sun!!

The editing of this shoot came at the perfect time for me. All of these dark rainy days are starting to get depressing :) I loved re-living this beautiful sun filled shoot with this gorgeous family!

They were great to work, older kids who were so nice and weren't afraid to be a little bit affectionate :) They did exactly what I asked them to and didn't roll their eyes once....imagine that. lol!

Seriously! So happy with this shoot and so proud to share it with everyone.....

Start of a New Family

This is soooo exciting! Amanda & Scott are the first official couple from last years wedding bonanza to become parents. There are a few others very close, but they are the first! It is really neat to spend a whole day with a couple documenting their every moment as they become husband and wife....and then too see them as parents. Such an honor.

Ok, let's talk about Amanda first, it should be against the law to look this good after having a baby less than a week before, sheesh!

And this little guy, sooo cute...and he looks just like his Daddy. He has taken the record as the most "awake" baby that I have photographed. For hours we patted, hushed, gave a pacifier....he just wanted to be awake...and sometimes happy and sometimes not :)

I still think the pictures turned out great and showcase his little personality on the day he decided to really observe his new world :)

His cousin came over so that she could be in a few pictures. She is too cute for words and I loved that she kept calling him "her baby" :)

Look at Them Now

The first time I photographed them was 2 years ago when they were expecting their first little guy, they were excited about becoming parents for the first time. Look at them now :) Two little boys under the age of two, a house full of love and laughter. I am so happy for them!!

I have been crossing my fingers and toes in hopes that they would ask me to do their family pictures at some point. I can't even tell you how excited I was for their shoot....I had all of these visions in my head for what I wanted to do. Then I had to "check myself" and say...Lisa, they kids are 1 & 2.  Dial it down a notch. haha.

The morning we met was COLD....I think the coldest morning yet this Fall but they were troopers and the boys are soooo darn cute, it didn't matter if they were smiling or crying, I loved every second of it.

I really am happy with how they turned out, I know it

wasn't the perfect morning...but I think what we captured

perfectly fits where you life is right now.

Family Fun!

What a great shoot! This family came to me from my yearly session donation to The Goddard School in South County. I was so excited to meet a new family, and how lucky am I! They are as cute as can be!

The kids are just darling and very energetic :) They are at the age where they would rather run and play than sit still for pictures (who can blame them).

But I have to say, I am completely crazy about what we got that day!! Love these "REAL" life moments....so many favorites.

Miss "D" is One!! Let's Celebrate!

The fabulous Miss "D" celebrates turning one! This little gal has stolen my heart over the last year and being asked by  her mom and dad to be there to document her birthday was extra special to me.

I started off with two of my favorite cake smash pictures.....

And the rest of the party which was filled with fun, laughs and lots of friends!!
