A Birthday Cake Smashing Good Time!

Love this family!!! Love these parents who are always so enjoyable to spend time with...who are very "real" and  again, the type of people I could totally  hang out with. These kids...oh how I adore these two. So cute, so happy....so loving.

Ok, so I have to tell you my favorite quote of the day. There was going to be a "cake smash" in honor of "B" man turning ONE. His big sister was just so excited about this cake, as we were walking to our destination for all of this cake smashing fun she says "Ok, who is ready to get a messy face with me?!?" It cracked me up, every time I see her she says something else that has me grinning all day. Seriously Jody, you have to write this stuff down.

Anyway, here is one of my very favorite families in all their adorable goodness.....Enjoy!!

because that was all that was left at 10:00 the night before. :) :) :)

Lots of Cuteness Comin' Your Way!

Ahhhh, this family....love love love them! I have been photographing them since they were pregnant with the cute little princess below. Mom is awesome, one of those people you meet and feel like you have known forever. They remind me of the type of family that my husband and I would be friends with and hang out with (if only they lived closer...we might stalk them. ha!). 

So let me tell you about this session...crazy, rain was coming in on us fast. We really didn't want to reschedule because people are busy and this family has lots going on. So we went for it and I tell ya, I think I broke some records for the fastest shooting I have ever done. But it wouldn't of been possible if these kids weren't sooooo darn good! I mean, crazy good for the ages they are at. Heck, they were better than some teenagers I have worked with ;)

I loved every second of it...like I always do. I can't get over how big and gorgeous these two are. Whoa, time flies!

I have to tell you that I always get nervous blogging their pictures. Mom is a professional

writer and a darn good one at that. She has helped me with my blog and newsletters in the past.

I am always double checking my grammar, but I think I am a hopeless cause....I type like I talk.

"C" turns TWO!!

My Spring has been full of CUTE kids!!! I was so happy to hear from this family to schedule pictures of "C"'s 2 year shoot. He has grown so much, and grown into an adorable toddler with an awesome personality! I had so much fun spending the morning with them.

9 Months of Cuteness!

Oh how this little cutie just melts my heart. He is the sweetest little guy and oh so happy all the time. I couldn't wait to see him at 9 months...but it was a bittersweet because we are nearing the end of his "first year" of pictures.

I LOVE shooting at new locations, and this was a new one for me. We headed to Shaw Nature Reserve and I flipped out...really, I think the Botanical Gardens has nothing on Shaw. It is so beautiful, in a natural untouched kind of way. We maybe saw 3 people the whole time we were there. It was beyond perfect and I know I will be returning.

Back to the star of the show, enjoy his cuteness! I know he had me smiling the whole time I was editing. LOVE these!!!

See you guys in a few months! I can't wait, I always look forward

to our time together! See you at the big ONE YEAR shoot. Wooooo, how

did that happen :)

Six Months....it's my VERY favorite!

It has been such a wonderful honor to watch my "first year" babies grow and change. I love experiencing so many "firsts" right along with their mommy and daddy. I love it so very much. This family has been so incredible to work with....after every single shoot, I drive away thanking my lucky stars that they choose me for this beautiful job. I knew this little princess was going to be as cute as can be at 6 months, and boy was I right. Oh how I LOVE the 6 month mark. It is my very favorite, they are discovering new things daily, LOVE their mommies and daddies and are just so happy. I tell you this family can not take a bad picture, some seriously photogenic people. I enjoyed every moment with them on this beautiful Spring morning.

Somebody loves their thumb. I love capturing these little moments where they find things that are in their comfort zone. Like their thumbs......and their.......

FEET! She recently discovered her toes and feet and loves playing with them. I just had to get a shot of that, even if we gave her a little "help" :)

Cherry Blossom trees, my very favorite.....thanks for making an appearance early Spring.

Ending with my favorite, I called my husband over to my computer when I edited this. I told him he had to come see my very favorite picture I have ever taken...ever. I am so in love with it. If I ever get my act together and re-model my office....this is getting printed big and hung on the wall with pride.
